How do cancelations and rescheduling work
Cancelling a session for any reason, at any time will count towards your cancelation rate and may affect your SuperCoach status or eligibility for it.
It is highly recommended to update your availability on a regular basis and ensure your calendar is sync'd to reduce the likelihood you will need to cancel.
In the event you have no choice but to cancel a session, you may do so in two ways
- Delete the Session event from your Google Calendar
- Modify or deleting a calendar event will automatically cancel your session
- Log into your account, locate the session and click on the 3 dots beside the session and select Cancel
If your reason for canceling is to reschedule the session, then select Reschedule in the previous step listed above.
How does rescheduling work
Rescheduling does not affect your cancelation rate, however, you first need the approval of the candidate to do so. Rescheduling a session without a candidate's approval or knowledge is not permitted and will count as a cancelation if the candidate shows up to the original time or does not show up at all.
When a candidate cancels
Candidates are allowed to cancel or reschedule a session 24 hours or more before the start of a session with no penalty, however, cancelling less than 24 hours is not allowed.
Should a candidate reach out to you less than 24 hours before the start of a session to cancel, you may advise them to reach out to us for further assistance.
When a candidate ask to reschedule
If a candidate asks to reschedule within 24 hours, the same cancelation policy applies.
