How can I get more sessions as a coach?

Here's a list of tips to follow to get more sessions as a coach.

1/ Add more availability

The more available your are, the more likely you are to get booked. Here are some data points to help you adjust your availability:

  1. There's about 25% more demand for coaching sessions on weekdays (MTWTF) than on weekends (SS).

  1. ~50% of coaching sessions happen between 4pm and 10pm (candidate time). And most candidates are based in the Pacific timezone.

2/ Add your coaching link to your LinkedIn profile

Adding your coaching link to your LinkedIn profile will grow the traffic to your profile and increase the number of sessions you do. Once you follow the steps below your link will be visible like on the screenshot below.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Go to your LinkedIn profile
  2. Scroll down to "Resources" and turn ON "Creator mode"

  1. Click on the pen in your Intro section

  1. Scroll down and click on "Edit custom button"

  1. Enter your coaching link, for instance https://igotanoffer.com/en/coach/max
  2. Enter a Link text, for instance: Book me 1-on-1

  1. Click save, that's it your coaching link is on your LinkedIn profile

3/ Create content with us

3/1/ Send us your resume to be included in one of our resume guides (we'll anonymize the parts you want)

We've written resume guides and are looking for additional resume examples to include in them. We'll anonymize the parts of your resume you want (e.g. address, email, etc.) and link to your coaching profile like below. This will help you get more resume review sessions.

3/2/ Apply to record a mock interview with us

We've recorded mock interview videos with coaches in the past (see an example below). This helps users see you in action before booking sessions with you.

If you're interested in recording a mock interview with us, send us the interview question you'd like to record as well as a short video sample of yourself explaining the question and how you plan to answer it (< 1min).
